More complex tasks like generating formulas and advanced formatting still require the web version. Working with a spreadsheet on your phone usually isn’t much fun. The screen is smaller, navigating a table can be annoying, and figuring out what hundreds of rows of numbers mean can become a job better saved for your laptop. Now, Google is trying to make that a little less painful by bringing Gemini in Google Sheets to Android. Gemini can now analyze the spreadsheet you have open and answer questions about the data directly from your phone. You can tap the Gemini sparkle icon inside the Sheets app and ask it to summarize a table, look for interesting patterns, or pull out useful insights.
