Its owners tracked it with Find My and recovered it virtually undamaged from a canola field. The incident adds to a growing list of remarkable smartphone survival stories over the years. Over the past couple of years, smartphones have survived some truly absurd situations. A Pixel 8 that spent four days at the bottom of a hot tub. A Galaxy S23 Ultra recovered after five hours beneath Arctic ice. And, of course, the iPhone that survived the Alaska Airlines door-plug blowout. Now, another iPhone has earned its place on that list after surviving a fall that almost nobody would expect.
