A new report now suggests that this demand for the foldable may have convinced Samsung to increase production of the smartphone. According to ET News, Samsung is assembling an additional 1 million units of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 following the device’s “great success.” Samsung is said to have initially produced 2.8 million units of the foldable, and the manufacturer could increase production further if demand persists. Recent reporting highlights that demand for the foldable has already surpassed the company’s expectations.
