Passes in Google Wallet now fill the entire screen with color and also tint the UI elements within the pass. The new design is a server-side update, so it could take a while to reach all users. Google has been working on big changes to the Google Wallet app. We spotted a bold new redesign for passes in the app a couple of months ago, and if you’ve been waiting for it to hit your phone, you probably won’t have to wait much longer. With the latest Google Wallet update (v26.32.962917069), Google has started rolling out the new pass design. The redesign puts a big focus on pass colors. Each pass still has its distinct color, but when you open one, it fills the entire screen with that color. All the UI elements within the pass are also tinted with the same color, giving the app a much more cohesive look. Take a look at what the new UI looks like:
