Users will be able to add notes to the songs, audiobooks, and podcast episodes they add to their playlists. Spotify’s editors will also use the feature to give context behind songs added to curated playlists. After adding the new Running Mode and User Notes features, Spotify is introducing yet another feature for its users: Playlist Notes. With it, Spotify hopes to let both users and its team of editors add context to the playlists they curate. The “Playlist Notes” feature is an extension of the “User Notes” feature Spotify introduced late last month. User Notes allowed users to add notes to individual tracks in playlists they owned. However, the streaming platform is now expanding it to cover not just tracks but also audiobooks and podcast episodes that users add to playlists they own or collaborate on.
