We all know how annoying it is when our phones suffer from an unexpected glitch. But for as frustrating as that can be, it’s maybe somehow even worse when a manufacturer confirms that it’s developed a fix, but we can’t immediately get our hands on it. Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have been dealing with such a tease for several weeks now, but the good news is that the end finally appears to be in sight.

Users first alerted us to problem in mid-July, reporting that they were seeing sections of their S26 Ultra’s screen take on a pinkish, redish hue:
