Among the leaked Valve assets are videos showing the device unboxing, the Ergonomic Accessories Kit, and other tutorials. The company previously said the VR headset will launch this summer, but hasn’t offered a specific timeframe. It’s been a long wait for the Steam Frame VR gaming headset following its announcement late last year. Valve finally gave us a summer launch timeline for this eagerly anticipated device in June, but we haven’t heard much since then. That’s changing now, as a slip-up has revealed more than half a dozen tutorial videos of the upcoming VR headset and its accessories. X account Steam Hardware Updates highlights eight videos, including an extensive unboxing video that leaves nothing to the imagination. These videos reportedly come from the ARM-based Steam client. Although Valve has since removed them from its platform, it wasn’t quick enough to avoid the public noticing.
