• Samsung has released the eighth One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26 series.

Last week, Samsung released One UI 9 Beta 7 for the Galaxy S26 series. Samsung usually goes a few weeks between beta releases, and while we hoped a stable update would finally roll out, Samsung is back with another beta for the Galaxy S26 series. This marks the eighth One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26 series, and comes alongside the first One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S25 series.

Tarun Vats notes on X that Samsung has begun rolling out One UI 9 Beta 8 for the Galaxy S26 Ultra in South Korea. This Android 17-based update comes with firmware version ending in ZZHM, the August 5, 2026 security patch, and is 513MB in size.
