Users will also be able to share local files directly with Gemini Notebook. The first set of Googlebook devices is expected to arrive as soon as mid-September. While Google has yet to formally confirm the launch schedule, Acer, one of its hardware partners, recently teased its first Googlebook at IFA 2026, priming us for what’s coming.
