A Champions League club explained the dismissal of Ukrainian coaches

Samir Huseynov, president of “Athletic Futsal,” commented on the dismissal of the team’s head coach, Oleksandr Kabanenko, and goalkeeper coach, Vladislav Korneev:

“The club’s management, for its part, did everything possible to ensure that Oleksandr Kabanenko and Vladislav Korneev, who have done so much for Athletic, would stay and continue their work. But we were unable to convince them. This is a great loss for us, but we respect their decision.”

On October 27, “Athletic Futsal” will play in the main round of the Futsal Champions League. The team’s group opponents will be Loznytsia-Grad, Athletic Club Graz, and Khrudim.
