Ukrainian snooker player Anton Kazakov will play his first-round qualifying match for the 2026 Northern Ireland Open on September 13 at 6:00 p.m.

The qualifiers are taking place from September 13 to 16 in Leicester, England, and the main part of the tournament is scheduled to be held in Belfast from October 18 to 25.

Anton Kazakov, 21 (ranked 119th), will face 32-year-old English snooker player Sam Craigie (ranked 72nd) in the first round of qualifying (Q1).

The match is played to the best of 4 frames (up to 7 frames). The winner will advance to the second round (Q2), where he will face Ishprit Singh Chadha of India.

Two other Ukrainian snooker players are competing in the Northern Ireland Open qualifiers. In Q1, Yulian Boiko will face Luo Zetao of China, while Mykhailo Larkov will take on Canadian Sahil Nayar on September 14 at 3:00 p.m.
