BLAST Open Porto Participant Guide: Schedule, Timeline, and Items You Cannot Bring

Six teams remain in the BLAST Open Porto, and the arena weekend will take place from September 4 to 6 at the Super Bock Arena. Ten teams have returned home from the group stage in Copenhagen, and the remaining teams are Spirit, MOUZ, Falcons, G2, FURIA, and Vitality. If you have a ticket, here’s a handy guide to what you’ll need before you get to the gates.
Bracket
Spirit and MOUZ won their groups and have a bye in the quarterfinals, so only five matches will be played this weekend.
Friday, quarterfinals: Falcons vs. G2, followed by FURIA vs. Vitality
Saturday, semifinals: Spirit vs. Falcons and the winner of G2, MOUZ vs. FURIA and the winner of Vitality
Sunday: Grand Final
Everything wraps up on Sunday with a best-of-five series in the Grand Final. Plan your last day around this series, which could go the distance.
Schedule and Door Open Times
The daily schedule is the same for all three days. Doors open at 1:45 p.m., the show starts at 2:30 p.m., the first match at 3:00 p.m., and the second match in the evening. All times are in Porto local time, which is one hour behind Danish time.
There’s one thing worth checking on the day of the event: BLAST’s own visitor guide lists the start of the evening series at 7:00 PM, while several match trackers list it for 6:30 PM. Different sources already disagree on the start time of this event, so trust the arena screens and BLAST’s social media above all else.
Live scores can be found on our BLAST Open Porto tournament page, and the day’s schedule is available on the CS2 match page.
How to Get to the Super Bock Arena
The arena is located in the Crystal Palace Gardens on Dom Manuel II Street, not far from downtown Porto. From Aliadousa or São Bento, the journey takes about 20–25 minutes, most of which is downhill; the return trip is less scenic.
BLAST recommends public transportation, which is the best option on match day. There is an underground parking garage with 453 spaces on the stadium grounds, but with 453 spaces for spectators at the arena, it’s more of a lottery than a sure thing. Routes, schedules, and parking prices can be found on the Super Bock Arena travel page.
Re-entry is allowed throughout the weekend, so you can go grab a bite to eat between the daytime and evening sessions without losing your seat.
Red Carpet, Merch, and Meet-and-Greets
Players walk the red carpet near Exit 03, usually about 90 minutes before doors open. That’s around 12:15 p.m. if you want to be there, but arrival times may vary, so check the BLAST Premier social media channels on game days rather than relying on a fixed time.
There are no public meet-and-greets at this event. If your ticket package includes them, BLAST will contact you via email, so check your inbox before you start waiting in line for something that isn’t happening.
Merchandise is sold on-site at official pop-up booths.
What You Can’t Bring Into the Arena
Security is what causes most people to lose the things they love. Leave the following behind:
Weapons of any kind: firearms, projectile weapons, knives, and blades
Glass and containers: bottles, cans, glass cups
Poles and tubes: rigid flagpoles, umbrellas, drums, and other instruments
Explosives: fireworks and pyrotechnics
Food and drinks outside: everything, without exception
Professional recording equipment: your phone is fine, but a camera is not
