Usyk won't be able to help him. The richest boxer of our time has received a warning

Mexican boxer Saúl Álvarez is preparing for his bout against WBC super welterweight champion Christian M'Billi, which will take place on October 31 in Riyadh.

The Mexican is doing part of his training alongside Oleksandr Usyk, but Boxing247 has expressed skepticism about this decision.

“Training with the Ukrainian champion won’t be enough to restore 36-year-old Canelo to his former physical condition. Usyk can help with movement, footwork, and conserving energy, but his style is radically different from the Mexican’s.

The main problem for Canelo is Mbilli’s aggressive style. The young Frenchman is capable of maintaining a high pace throughout the entire fight and doesn’t give his opponent a chance to recover calmly.

To win, Canelo will have to manage his energy wisely, target the body, and punish M’Billi for careless attacks. At the same time, his physical conditioning could be a key factor in the bout,” the source notes.

As a reminder, Alvarez is considered the richest boxer of our time among active fighters.
