After losing in the US Open final, Sobolenko smashed her racket and sent the cameraman packing

"Neutral" Arina Sobolenko, in her typical style, did not hold back her emotions after her loss to Elena Rybakina in the final of the 2026 U.S. Open.

After the match ended, Sobolenko smashed her racket on the court while Rybakina celebrated her victory and thanked the fans for their support.

While preparing for the awards ceremony, a cameraman pointed his camera at Sobolenko and her team, and Arina responded in kind by telling him to get lost.

Starting Monday, Sobolenko will lose her No. 1 spot in the WTA rankings—Rybakina will become the leader of the women’s tour.
