The world's sexiest female volleyball player defended the scantily clad Sydney Sweeney

Former American volleyball player Kayla Simmons, whom the media has called the sexiest volleyball player in the world, has come to the defense of actress Sydney Sweeney following criticism of her racy ad.

The 29-year-old Sweeney appeared nude in an ad for the sports betting platform Novig. The ad sparked outrage among women in sports, including British sprinter Amy Hunt and Australian water polo player Tilly Kerns.

Simmons came to the actress’s defense by posting a video on Instagram.

“Sydney Sweeney’s ad doesn’t set women’s sports back. If you want to support women in sports, buy tickets, attend games, and celebrate their achievements. Belittling another woman is not empowerment,” Kayla wrote.

According to the former volleyball player, women have the right to decide for themselves how to use their own appearance without facing societal judgment.

Simmons ended her athletic career in 2018. She is now actively building her social media presence, and her Instagram account has over 950,000 followers.
